I have finally finalized my trip to Brisbane/Gold Coast with Gwen. We'll actually be going to 3 of the Worlds (Dreamworld, Movie World, Wet N Wild costing 135$ for the 3 of them as a package). Those who intend to go there for a holiday should tune into my blog more cos i will most probably put up some photos here. We will be watching Queens live too at , they were the ones that brought you the track "We Will Rock You" and a lot of songs sang by the boy group 5ive. We'll be climbing a certain Story Bridge (I think the view would be absolutely amazing) and parading ourself by the beach (This is obviously rubbish, beach in the middle of winter?). I guess that's the lowdown of our trip. O yes we also be checking out the beautiful university campus of UQ in St. Lucia, Brisbane.
The accommodation issue with at Gold Coast side turned up a bit tricky as I was forced to fork out extra dollars to grab a better hotel. Mate, it's right smack beside the beach. Would be awesome if she don't mind the 5 mins walk to the Gold Coast Highway where most of the public buses commute through.
O yes, I am also really excited to say that the doctor has just returned from UK with my favorite album at the moment. BK aka Ben Keen - 'Under the Influence'. He's a top notch hard house producer/dj. Here's the video of his album release party in the Ministry of Sound, London. It features some of the top tunes in his album as well.
While at the same moment of being 'high' due to the fantastic tunes going thru my headphones, I have compiled a shortlist of tracks that I think would be noteworthy after going through the new releases on Tidy Digital. The Sneaky Russianz - Deeper Underground (Original Mix) (Scum Records)
This is immediately became my favorite tune when I heard it on Tidy Digital. It features some great synth melody and beats making a great track to shake your booty even though you don't know what's going on.
Nik Denton - Freak Right Out (Original Mix) (Vicious Circle)
I love the vibes of this track. It is ultimately fitting if I have this track somewhere in the middle of my set. It has the vibe of 'I don't care what you think of what I am playing' Kinda like the flair of what the vibe my mentor Feng from Frontal normally have.
Firefox - Contagious (Original Mix) (Boshed Hard Recordings)
To be honest, the breakdown killed my liking for this track but it has a great sound especially with the beats and it seemed to do well on Tidy Digital so it's here.
If anyone is wondering, I do listen to other commercial music as well just rarely. Besides the usual stuff I hear on the radio when I am driving my Commodore, i been listening to the OST of this anime called Nana. It features some of the very best in Jrock and Pop. One thing i would say about this anime is it has a sense of realism and has more than a usual share of in-ta-ma-cy compared to other animes. Ok it's not a hentai flick. I can link some of the tracks below but my favorite ones are prolly sang by the beautiful Olivia Lufkin who's half jap and half u.s.

This is the first opening song of the anime. The song that is but not the video. =) It's a abit punk rockish. But I am fine with that I guess. Did I say I listen to Millencolin?
Olivia Lufkin - Wish
This is my pick of the lot.
I decided to take a break of studies and planning for a while and dive into anime and tv shows. With my 'final' exam (Signals Processing) around the corner (18th on June) and with all my favorite tv shows on season break, its best to keep my involvement with the tele-v at a minimum so I have only been watching these shows. Sola, which is an anime about Sky Dreaming =.=. It's something like my favorite Air in a way that it has the same theme and have fantastic graphics. You guys can prolly find out about the plot thru the link. Another show is somewhat like Cop-catch-bad-guys show spin off. However it's about a different circumstance. The show is called Standoff and it's all about crisis negotiation like hostage situations.
